King Tonyo aka "Mr. Pineapples" - born and raised in San Antonio, TX - is the co-founder of the “Set The Tone” movement. “Set The Tone” is a phrase that represents his team’s approach to both music and life; Tone Setter Music Group strives to create new trends and to make a major impact on both the entertainment industry and the world as a whole. After beginning his music career in 2015, King Tonyo has achieved significant success in a short amount of time. King Tonyo has performed at several popular festivals in Texas such as 2019 Oyster Bake with 98.5 The Beat, Tone City Jam Fest (San Antonio, TX) and LOUD Fest (Houston) and his most notable project yet...2019 Essex Music and Art Festival at Essex Modern City featuring Ashanti, along with the unveiling of King Tonyo's 20ft wall mural. In 2017 King Tonyo adopted the moniker "Mr. Pineapples" representing his motto of "Stand Tall, Stay True and Set the Tone". King Tonyo released a short EP titled "Pineapples" and began to give out Pineapples at his concerts, interviews, etc. and it was not long before the Pineapples mania began. Today, King Tonyo has turned "Pineapples" into a lifestyle - H.O.A.P. (Heart of a Pineapple) that is centered around positivity, resilience, and self-confidence. Never lose HOPE/HOAP!
